Wen-Chun LIN
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, she was first thought on the violin from her grandfather, and studied afterwards with the renowned Professors Dora Schwarzberg, Igor Ozim, Yair Kless and Zakhar Bron in Vienna, Graz, Salzburg and Madrid. She worked with Orchestras, such as Symphonic Camerata Los Angeles, Dohnányi Orchestra Budapest, Olympia Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, Kronstädter Philharmony Brasov, National Symphony Orchestra Taiwan, Spirit of Europe Orchestra and Orchestre Régionalde Cannes PACA.
2006 she was admitted to the Conducting class of Professor Mark Stringer at the University
for Music and fine Arts in Vienna and graduated in June 2012 with the Radio Symphonic
Orchestra Vienna in the golden Musikvereinhall with distinction and was rewarded a appreciation
award from the University and State Vienna for her work.
From September 2013 Wen-Chun became a member of the Philharmonia Zürich Orchestra from Opera Zürich, first as an academist and from September 2014 as 2nd concertmaster. She also worked as a former member of the Radio symphonic Orchestra in Vienna from November 2012 to May 2013.
June 2013, her Orchestra, The Vienna Harmonics was called into life and she founded with her friends Isabella Hahn and Isabella Happenhofer the Association "Kunstrausch" for the Promotion of Art, and Support for Young Talents and Artists.
